Born and raised in Miami by a French mother and a Haitian father, this young vocalist is admired for her expressive and soulful interpretations of jazz and blues standards, which have won her fans at festivals around the world. She recently took first prize in the Thelonious Monk International Vocal Jazz Competition, awarded by a panel of judges that included the likes of Diane Reeves, Dee Dee Bridgewater, and Kurt Elling.
